Fickle forsythia .... I love it! Yes it does seem as though plants lose their direction in the early days of Spring. But, as Jacob says, with the coming of summer they glow in their true glory! Our garden is just waking up, and it is wonderful to see. Your Haiku is very good, especially as it has universal undertones, and can be applied to many other things.

Got that hummm factor ... really great structure in what I feel is a brilliant format. The forsythia is also known as the 'Easter tree' - so - very seasonal to boot - >;)
