And off to dreamysleeps you go. Unless of course you woke up when you thought this and had to write it down in case you forgot it. I hate it when that happens. It makes you all crotchety and then you go snapping at people for asking you a perfectly reasonable question...
Don't you?
Don't you?
Don't you?
No, just me then 😀

The morning view. First thing we can see. If it is nature. It is music. Very nice use of words dear Chris.

Hello dear Chris and you are welcome.
Oh, I love this....when the sunlight dances through the blinds in the early moments of the day, the mind dances right along with it. Good one. Lydi**

As a tinkerer on a guitar, I have always appreciated a good flamenco guitar player ... Segovia being the master, but Django Reinhardt could certainly play.
Couldn't help but consider the Pasa Doble scene from Strictly Ballroom as the shadows dancing on your half drawn blinds.

Thanks Chris ... needed something a bit more peaceful than what is going on at the moment.

A lovely senryu, Chris. I have two left feet so there is no chance I'll be copying those leaves any time soon. Its a fine scene to wake up to first thing in the morning, though. An original senryu.

dear Chris... I googled your Artist... his music 🎶 is just what we need to soothe our ruffled feathers after all the “storms of devastation
created by Riots in our Cities after bad judgement was used to subdue a man who died
from police brutality. We have come so far to fall into a situation that is Insane. Your poem is
a Balm that gives us hope. truly, Pat

This surely goes to the list of my favorites in Haiku. It makes me imagine different postures given by the leaves while dancing flamenco. I must say your thoughts ran a beautiful show in half sleep mode.

wonderful senryu, Chris.
here i am reading this, and watching Romeo and Juliet...the scene when Tybalt and Mercutio draw their swords and have the duel which Romeo unfortunately gets in between...
Play me Mercutio...and then the silhouettes of two slain cousins...

A lovely image, dear Chris, especially one written in half sleep! Must have been a wonderful scene to experience first thing in the morning and your description is spot on. Flamenco, Rodrigo....so originally described. Much enjoyed! :))
