A Poem by Chris Shaw
"

Suggestions for a title please

"
gift me a blade of grass
though not before dawn
has cast her crystal tears
upon its green

gift me a blade of grass
so every droplet glistens
dew bead bright, rainbow lights
kissed gently by the first
touch of morning sun

gift me a blade of grass
and I will have all that my
heart desires before the
day is done

Well, it's better than my second thought for a title "Does this smell of dog piss to you?" 😀
A beautiful glimpse into a beautiful mind... that I have just soiled. My head is hung in shame. But you know me Chris, once I thunk it, I have to talk it 😀
Think happy thoughts Chris, throwing shoes never solved anyth OUCH! 😀

This poem is really touching to me. Being a grateful for such a small thing as a blade of grass makes me appreciate what a big deal it can really be.

I don't need much...just a beautiful morning.
My suggestion for a title would be "The Morning's Due"

love the imagery in this one, Chris.

You are, unquestionably, a romantic whom Nature continually inspires.
Simply, sublime, gifted poetess!

I just got back from a rustic camp site (no plumbing or showers!). This poem reminds me of that. Great poem!

This is such a lovely piece, Ms. Chris. I whiffed in glee the natural essence of the scenic elements you painted in this write. May you come up with a genuine title :) Regards.
