Here at NorthForest (a short story)

A Story by Toasty (Erin)

I watch as Colin lights up another cigrette, the look in his eyes says he does it to belong, he doesn't do it for pleasure.
Piper extended her long tanned legs over Colin's lap and relaxs against the rocks, she too light s a cigrette.
I think they're going out, I'm not too sure. Both are what my mom would've called trainwrecks but I strangely don't se them like that, I see them as young and reckless, something I have been sheltered from for the last fifteen years.
Being here has done more good than harm.
Leo nudges me and passes the pack of cigrettes, I take a quick glance at them and say "No thanks, not today."
I can see Piper supresssing a laugh but I ignore her, she can be a b***h sometimes.
Her long wavy blonde hair, dark brown eyes, and a tan that pale people like me would kil for make her think that she is all that and a bag of chips, maybe she is but the chips are Lays chips, 90% air
