Seams

Seams

A Poem by Kyra Evalice

I’m falling apart at the seams.
The strings weren’t tight enough when I was made.
My stuffing is falling out.
Feels like I can’t catch my breath.

I’m falling apart at the seams.
My stomach of yarn is tied up in knots.
Did they put it in like that on purpose.
Why did they make my insides all wrong?

I’m falling apart at the seams.
Falling apart in places no one can see.
Don’t bring your scissors I’ve got mine.
Needle and thread won’t fix this.
