On pain of death

rank of a poet is well known
death is ma friend not a fiend
do long for my friend if not for the pain

many embrace their pain
to find friend of death
only to call him fiend

they just dont know the friend he can be
beyond the pain the life is gone
no more pain no more hurt just no more

i embrace death for he is my friend
death knows i am a friend
cause i have greeted him a few times
