Jaclyn

A Poem by Celestia

When the Winter comes

I will be in my tower, waiting

Rapunzel with white hair

Not long, but short

Jumping into snow

Let the ice spread

Over the ground

Into your heart

Frozen cold, solid

Cool as ice

I have been locked in chains

Misunderstood by my own family

Questioning my reality

Lab rat or princess

In my uncle's dungeon

Locked up secure and tight

Waiting for a new dawn

Looking for light

I am the ice girl

I am the one who conquered humanity's greatest fear

The dark under our bed

The dark inside our head

I am the girl who made dreams possible
