Apocalypse

Apocalypse

A Poem by AaronFreitas
"

Just something totally off the wall for a contest... no offense to anyone just found a cool pic and came up with the idea.

"

God said, “Please set fire…

To each living soul that’s sinned.”

He watched as we burned

Revelations 'number of the beast' often stirs my thoughts - perhaps it just a way of describing sinners who havent repented or have no intention of doing so. In which case this is totally step two.
Great bit of fantasy inspired by a very intriguing image. Nice exercise A.
Good luck in the contest :)

Thank you riddhi... this one was a little different but I'm glad you liked it.
He created and set us up in a way that we could be knocked down, out of a job otherwise.

I'm a believer though. There just has to be a higher hand at work because warts and all, it all works too well to be just co-incidence.

It's all good... still the thought of you commenting and reading makes me appreciate you :)
not offensive at all. There is no one who hasn't sinned and for me the fire was of his burning love.

Any time in life, anyone is able to sin. Be it they are religious or not. Some deserve to burn for their sins, while many don't deserve that...the picture helps envision this piece more. Great write!
