Of all the ways and grace of Earth,

We give thanks for autumn’s birth

In ripling harvests of rippling soil

We give thanks for strength to toil

 

Now dream of enchanted Saturn skies

And this season’s living lullabies

In emerald’s lush turned scarlet ripe

In dancing colors’ succulent stripes

 

Fragrance of pumpkin spices swift

Round apple cider’s luscious drift

Dancing, drifting, in lifting smiles

Families united from across the miles

 

World comes to life in misted sleep

As harvest moons light all we reap

The earth’s flutters in darkest shades

Meadows now slumber in gilded glades...

It does give a sense of summer ebbing away and winter being ushered in. I find fall such a sad season. It's so beautiful but what it brings is so cold and dark, but setting that aside, autumn in itself is as wonderful as you so deftly describe. Very pleasant piece.

Really pocetic words, this stanza here blew me away. I could smell the sweet taste of Autumn. A very poetic and rhymatic piece.

How do i love those pumpkins, of the fall... not very populair pity enough in my country, but I make fresh soup of it... you captivate here a beautiful piece, of the season autumn, and as I have seen many writers be inspired of it, your write shines above them all.
