Why does it hurt so much...?

Why does it hurt so much...?

A Poem by Fire Tulip

When I see you
My heart melts

When you see me
You see a little girl staring

But the truth is;
I can't stop staring

Your full blood-red lips
Your glowing green-eyes
Your echoing laughter
Your everything

I just can't resist
You think of me as just another girl
But honey, if you knew half of the story I had to tell
You'd see me as I saw you

I miss you
I miss the warm zap when you held my hand
I miss the scent of you when you held me close
I miss the old days

I miss the old me
You changed me in ways I still don't understand
I never laugh as freely as I used to
My eyes have hardened to a grey

When I see us
I see the love that would never be
That never could be

About
One thing about me is I never know what to describe myself as. I love reading poetry, but whenever I try to write poetry, it never turns out right. So I usually stick to writing my book. Right now, ev.. more..
