Suffice.

Suffice.

A Poem by M. M. Lovar
"

"I want everything black."

"
These sheets do not compare
Neither the ocean to your stare
Nor food to your being
Nor love to your care

The whispered riddles bounce and reprise
My voice called on you every night
Your tones waltzed around my mind
and still steps
to the beat of obvious signs
that were naively overlooked
for the sake of not detaching
from your beautifully crooked hook

This rain will not satisfy my thirst
Neither this fire to your hearth
Nor my moon to your prayers
Nor this sand to your dirt

About
Writing relieves my emotions. I write what I feel and what inspires me. I hope you enjoy, and don't feel frightened to drop a line or two about it. I'd love to feel your words as well. :) more..
