Crying for Difference

A poem about differences in people.

Crying for Difference

We are all individuals,

Blessed with free will, only imprisoned by ourselves

We sway in the way others want

Not what our hearts call for and ache after

We are all one,

Just another

But on the inside we are so different,

Stay true,

The main message being "respect differences. Don't put it down, we are all the same, humans...
But with our own beautiful personalities.

so true... individuality is one of our most yearned for and admired traits... yet we are raised not to be individuals, but to be like everyone else...
