tremble and quake

A Story by cheyenne summer garcia
"

love was not the mistake

"
each give [ takes a little out of me ]
blind lovers take a spin
till there's nothing left within
left with a letter titled
lovers fickle and thin
rather be full then halfway
rather be with a heavy heart
[ content ]
than juxtaposed with your strangled arms
pulling me closer and closer
from myself
bad taste in worse cases
always a hunger
long lost
[ forged lovers ]
unevenly raveled laces
nothings perfect
worn out patent faces

I really enjoyed this piece. The figurative language and emotional touch really made this poem come alive. Great job!
