romantic fountain dream

romantic fountain dream

A Poem by Marie Harrison

This was my version of a black comedy poem. Showing my twisted sense of humor. Trying to make light of my pent up anger that I held at the time for my former love.

romantic fountain dream

with the dullest dagger

I long to stab you over and over

until you stagger

like a nasty drunken pirate

from my knife’s artistry

your blood would shoot out

in all directions

like fruit punch

flowing from

Rome’s Trevi fountain

oh what a sweet dream

that would be for me
