My Restoration

My Restoration

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

A poem about my source healing and the source I run to in times of need.

"

My Restoration

Cradle me in your invisible arms of strength as I slow dance

to the blues on this breezy afternoon,

let your warmth and energy heal and restore my

damaged heart box, sealing the tiny cracks

and fissures together forever with your organic pure love that

encircles around my body.

Murmur light lyrics of your joy for life and love,

your healing words of emotional devotion and affection whispered in my

direction, words that are utter perfection

to my wounded ears.

Hypnotic words that give you an instant connection to me

when you hear them part from

your omnipresent soul into the warm

breath of my earthly soul.

With your mystical spirit quenching my parched lips with

that renewing taste of fresh water,

that pure taste that

my greedy lips keep

demanding to drink endlessly.

Restore my tired body, weary heart

 and raw emotions,

make my human spirit

shiny new soon

with your presence

holy spirit.

We need the blessing of the Holy spirit to keep out hope and dreams alive. The poem is beautiful. I like the feel and gentle tone of your words. A outstanding poem.
