war zoneA Poem by Marie HarrisonA poem about life in a war zone area. Influenced by a film I recently saw depicting war.war zone
car bombs blasting
arm rockets flare
bullets scatter all about
blood splatters everywhere
this war zone is your home
no matter where you try to roam
but don't worry
you aren't alone
many more bruised and worn feet
have trampled down the dusty
streets of this brutal cold zone
they moan and drone with
constant fear that they
might see you too
