Petal Power

Petal Power

A Poem by Marie Harrison

A flower poem.

Petal Power

Your petals brighten my day

They have the power

To sweeten sour days

Rays of sun

Shine light on me

When you’re

Within my view

Your vibrant hues

Change my tune

Little Flower

Flowers do bring delight to all our senses and our heart and soul as well. Who wants to live in a place without flowers or plants at all? Isn't it a delight when we find a little flower growing from a crack in the sidewalk, especially in a downtown area?

I like this poem. Life can be like that, it doesn't take much for one to become happy.

Little things can mean a lot... a word, a touch, a smile... a pretty flower... Charming

I love this poem.

It perfectly explains the argument that Jocelyn made to William in "A Knight's Tale" about the virtue of a flower.

"Better a silly girl with a flower than a silly boy with a horse and a stick"

Nice job, Sweet Marie!
