Angel With Indigo Eyes

Angel With Indigo Eyes

A Poem by Marie Harrison

Pure love behind those eyes

“ Angel With Indigo Eyes”

Eyes of pure

Indigo blue

They pierce me

Seeing right through

One is lazy

One straight

But the love behind them

Makes me never late

They are fun and flirty

Make me clean when I am dirty

There’s an angel soul

That behind them guides

When my body is weary

With them I rest and hide

She’s my beloved angel bride

Behind those indigo eyes

So like the sound of this, read aloud 'tis like a song, sweet and loving! Seems to be saying: no matter what, you're the best .. great thought.

This is sappy, cute, and uplifting. I like how simple it is, as well, and the innocence it seems to exude. Just what I'm getting from it.

I like this Marie.

An angel with a lazy eye? Well, I suppose even heaven is cloudy at times. The alternating rhyme scheme was unusual but seemed a bit forced in places. I love the word "indigo" among thousands of others, it's sound is almost exotic.

I love this one.

I like it very good. Good Job. I love angels expecially if i was one. that would be great. good poem though.

Breathless. The description is vivid to view just the pure indigo eyes. It's a calm, romantic, and as I said, breathless. Wonderful poetry. Not sure what else to say so I'm going to end it with this, pure awesomeness.
