Silence

Silence

A Poem by Marie Harrison

Nature Poem

Silence

As Magic waved her cat tail’s wand,

Sir Turtle splashed into his pond,

While the red robins chirped and danced,

The white tailed fawns munched grass and pranced,

Joy sparkled as the eagle soared,

Silence fell when the black bear roared.

Your imagery here is wondeful. A very soft, gentle, happy poem. I loved it.

And all the while lance continued to dance, within the dark silence.

I love the contrast of the two lines of each verse. It seems like you're always doing the simple things in life. I love the peacefulness and animation portrayed in this.
