"Twisted Protection"

my life as a fallen angel

light of the world never sees me

for I curl in upon my own soul

hearing and seeing whatever

yet holding nothing to be the truth

 

longing for someone to find me

and to love me as I am

sweet innocent child

raged by a monster's heart

 

day after painful day

I struggle with the hurt

those I allow you to see

and those I so skillfully hide

 

this strange world of darkness becomes mine

and by this dark act i have accomplished

to save those who's love I so longed for

in my world of shadows silenlty i watch

 

watch and wait as my hate is replaced by newfound love

for those who i gave my life to save; now with the soul of a fallen angel

whom protects all from here deep below

be still i beg you; be still and know that I am here

 

wherever you are and wherever you go

for I am there also near your soul

for i will be your protector, your love, your fallen angel at last

don't push the shadows away, but please let them stay

 

so that i may be near you in all that I am

in all that you do  and in all that  you know

remember your protector, your love, your fallen angel

shall never leave nor forsake you

 

even though the world may turn from you

and you may feel that you are indeed alone

for you are the light

both above and below

 

that sustains your fallen angel to always live

and to love you forever as I always have for now i say

Merry meet and blessed be for your love, your protector, your fallen angel is here
