A Seeker's Sight

A Seeker's Sight

A Poem by Stacy Purvis

Beneath the breast and bones so dense, a soul of Light, borne of consequence.

Time and space cannot erase, the memories of yesterday, and dreams we chase.

Blood and sweat, an inclination, and thus we build on a deeper sensation.

Many souls, but only One mind, our hearts to cast a fatal line.

For those who see and understand, on solid ground in Faith, they stand.

And one day, not long from now, the Truth revealed behind burdened brow.

Shadows escape his earthen mind, released from Darkness and another time.

No more sorrow and no more pain, his soul of Light transcends Iliad’s plane.
