Lunatic

Lunatic

A Poem by fatkat bonehead
"

"Nor is it romantic, 'Lunatic', meaning fallen under the influence of the moon." -a quote from the book "Surviving Schizophrenia"...

"
I had a midnight meeting with the moon last night-
And she winked at me-
Spilled ink on me-
Told me how she would sink her teeth in me.
And she’s been killing clean with no meaning;
So deep we dug our hole so that we could weep.
Beating me sleep, keeping me discrete..
Never have I ever had to sneak a peak
At my dreams this week, memories in wet concrete,
So that I see thee envy, that turns my blood deep green.
We’d like to steal the junkie’s needle and all their string
Sew the world a noose to hang it by it's sweet misery.
While the sun tries to rise and creeps on me, up the east.
Blinding us, singing lust, dangling love by wrinkling sheets
That aids my mama’s rest and buys her cheap drinks.
Songs about f*****g nothing.. no one loves, so I trust these remedies.
Remembering my own course in human anatomy:
Poisoning ministries, by administering plenty o’ things.
Being worthless and unworthy simultaneously.
Nothing but untrustworthy as they walk aimlessly,
‘Cause he’s done nothing for me.
And Luna’s been fed up with me- so this morning
Around three, the hour of her specialty,
My beautiful moon dumped me.
And stopped breathing for me.
I will forever be forever less than nothing 'cause
We’re only cursed to be so lucky-
And to be shadows that follow some somethings,
That no one else can see, but that’s good enough for me.
See the perfect junkie... I only think, cry, and bleed.
