Who Are You?A Poem by Chris MichaSelf exploration
Who Are You?
Complex transparency Hiding in plain view Silent restraint Unbeknownst to the world Wasted occupant of space The suit does not fit The smile is not real Wake up sleepy head Stop dreaming Reality is painted With tears Fear is your reaper Holding you captive Who do you think you are Walking dead? Life is not over If you knew how to start it Do you know where you are? Who you are? Or does the world make that decision for you? Each frame can be altered Dissected and re-arranged It can be painted any color You are the animator You direct the source It's push and pull Of tug of war Can be won If you so choose to accept the challenge So I ask again
Who are you?
