The Looking Glass

The Looking Glass

A Poem by Chris Micha
"

Where dreams touch realities hand.

"

The Looking Glass

We are...

a kiss

of long awaited dreams

Placed on quivering lips of electric sensations

running down to curled toes grounded in the moment

Hands molded around hips swaying to the rhythm of the

heart pounding a beat from an adrenalized drum

Skin beading harmonic scents of desire

waiting to be licked by fiending tongues

Eyes melting in a fiery beauty

riding a soft pink sunset into the night

Miles explored by two bodies

mapping uncharted territories in the dark corners of the heart.

But...

here we are

Standing behind the looking glass

Searching for the last puzzle piece

To unlock two worlds wanting to collide

We're just on the other side.

Where forever meets

&

soulmates triumph over the formality of time.

True love is kinged as the ultimate ruler

&

dreams play along side of our dancing feet.

Here is the writer who is taking over the Spotlight list with one sensual piece after another! No one writes with such sparkling clear eloquence. Your style using brief lines draws a reader in each time you place your emotion on screen. "I beg only that you continue to instruct".

This is a lovely piece. It was easy to read and follow. Nothing felt out of place. The entire piece was very descriptive and made me feel so much that I had to read it again. Very well done.

This portrays a dream that I hold and can't wait to unlock. Being someone who has yet to find that type of love... or just hasn't allowed myself to feel those feelings, your poem makes me excited to enter that time in my life. Thank you and well done.

Well when you do, it will be amazing
Great piece. My favorite part is:

here we are
Standing behind the looking glass
Searching for the last puzzle piece
To unlock two worlds wanting to collide
We're just on the other side.

I knew that was you staring back at me.
