The Last Dance of Dying Stars

There you were

In the middle of my nightmare

Holding out your heart

As demons lunged to extinguish the light

But you stood there unafraid

As your heart sent wave after wave of troops

Into the depths of the event horizon

I was lying underneath

The company of a darkened moon

Watching The Last Dance of Dying Stars

Falling into the silence

Alone as they tumbled

They waved goodbye

And then

I could see scattered arrays of radiant light

Escaping through to the darkness

Their likeness was that of angels

Bearing swords with engraved messages

Each one were hues of colors unseen by the lonely man

Who piers behind the windows of my eyes

They pierced sharply as they sliced their way into my soul

There was no pain

But relief for a hostage mind & shackled heart

One by one they severed the darkness holding me below

Giving me breaths of life as I ascended

Into the corridors of Love

There you were

In the middle of my dream

Holding out your heart

In the middle of slain demons.

About
To sum me up is pretty easy. I love writing because it's therapy for my wayward soul. Although, I am by no means any good at it, I still put myself out there. I use to write when I was younger but gav.. more..
