orange/black/red

A Poem by nostal
"

night-time poetry.

"
pixel orange bursts
on a black plain
blackened by the still night;
building front orange aura
and flimsy cups to counter
the casted light; an emissary
lit every single one aglow
before I could even look.

there’s an eyeball impaled
by a dagger somewhere in a
dark musty alley; it tries to
look past a film of dried pale
blood, catches the glint
of the blade and sighs
