Hope to Forget

Hope to Forget

A Poem by Chris Z

Stand still, Barely Standing

Always falling, Never Landing

Never Stable, Always bending

Always hiding, Never Mending

Unrelenting, Unforgiving

Ever wanting, Everlasting

Always needing, Never asking,

Never feeding, Always fasting

Scatter brained, Limbs broken

Words said, Words Unspoken

Always spiteful, None Revoken

So here we are, Are we joking?

Now you're not here, Still never ending

Hate thoughts of you, but they're still pending

And though there's pain you'll still be sending

There will be other's I'll be befriending

And when it's more than just a friend thing,

When I'm so glad that good stuff's happening,

Inlove with someone not so threatning

You'll be a dream not worth rememb'ring
