Prickliness

Prickliness

A Poem by Cassidy Mask

peppered wings

you taught me

how to fly,

in a moment

turned to find

you gone.

~ ~ ~ ~

silence of the

midday sun.

~ ~ ~ ~

the flowers at

the window

rattle.

did we

always have

crows or did

they just

move in?
