Welcome to the Holidays

Welcome to the Holidays

A Poem by Clarke
"

A poem about the holidays (since they are getting close)

"

Holidays reflect the way things were meant to be

With Christmas cups and strung up lights

From the simple card to the brand new car

These moments are when we all feel young

God left us with this day for an unknown reason

Left it sitting in front of our very eyes

For us to see the world in stronger unity

Believing for once that peace was on our earth

Creating a perfect day of harmony is a gift

A treasure so great that one might miss it

If they were not carefully paying attention

To something no one could ever purchase

Silver bells to caroling choirs on the stage

Singing music to create a unique atmosphere

One that catches people from their sleep

Lets them know of God's unending reach

Remember that love is always there to guide

Although it's harder to find after the twenty-fifth

Always know that up above in your own soul

There is a gift that is given every single day
