Nonsense of this Mind.

Nonsense of this Mind.

wrote this o so long ago about a year or two haha well i guess not that long ago, but with some revision and expansion. :)

Wish we could fly everday,

See, I think that way,

But I know it'll be alright,

Even if I miss that flight,

Sometimes your mind wins in every way.

Don't let it fall apartm

'Cause you're never as broken as you thought,

What really matters was never taught.

I swam to the deepest sea,

Found a volcanoe that errupted me,

I'm sitting as a rock waiting to be freed,

Wish to be more then what you see,

I want trees, I wish to be an Island!

Lonely as it may be,

I might just be free.

Spelling issues. GREAT conceptually. I ignored grammar. Don't worry. Haha. And it's as undeniable little poem.I love the story you've told and the imagery you've used. Beautiful.
But, let me get one thing out of the way: I think punctuation is effective in bringing out tone, mood, structure, and overall poetic coherence. I understand some poets prefer not to use any punctuation, and some poets are really good at it, but before you eschew it completely, I think you should at least practice it. It might be effective to play with punctuation and understand it's purpose and what you can do with it.
