Alkeihiemers

Alkeihiemers

A Poem by CaSi
"

The act of forgetfulness because of the disease you have brought upon yourself with the bottle in your fist.

"

Where does the money go?

To your head! To your head,

Thoughts of you were dead,

Emotions could be free

If I part of the remedy,

He use to be my torniquet

Until I ran just to forget.

I ran so hard ,

Played every thought and every card,

My hand was dealt before my time,

Now we run just to make a dime.

Time doesn't exist just a measurement,

'Til enternal bliss.

In our minds we become free,

All beings, we become one with the nature.

All the things that control our mind,

We run for the fun, Hell! I love to run!

You claim to hate it, But I see you do so all the time,

You run for the rum,

From everything that's deep,

Just like the bottom of the bottle

'Til it puts you too sleep

You know It'll tell you so,

The truth will show,

But you'll wake up in the morning,

& I'll watch you go.

Some commas should be periods. Some commas should actually be sentence fragments. The words are concise, clean, and high drama, which is great. Very evocative of a sprite my professor once wrote about. Different topic. Same tone.
