Step it Out

Step it Out

A Poem by George Love
"

My reflections on a night of dancing

"

Step it Out

Step out to the left then out to the right

Follow that beat now catch the night

Slide out to the left, now back to the right

Step it out forward and step it on back

Catch that next move and stay on track

You got that beat down deep inside

Slide it out left now one more time

Turn it on back let’s slide to the right

Top of the beat let’s keep that groove

Turn it on back if that’s your move

Spin it out, Step it out, keep that beat

Sweat now pours as laughter swells

Loudly the beat drives, the feet slide

Swirling, twirling, spinning, sliding, stepping

All dance on through the night itself.
