Wish i Could Tell You

Wish i Could Tell You

A Poem by Cocoacandy

Laughing with my friends,

Giggling like school girls as you walk by.

If you only knew why,

If you only knew how I felt…

I wish I could tell you,

But then I’d have to risk it.

My fragile soul does not need

To be broken again.

Sometime hard to take chances. I like the story in the poem. A sad ending to a poem. When age overtake us. The things we wish we done haunt us more the mistakes. A excellent poem. Thank you.

good poem. the only time girls laugh at me when they walk by, they're actually laughing at me.

I might be wrong, but there seems to be a strong undertone of insecurity. I really enjoy minimalist poetry, it sends a bigger message, and forces the reader to actually think.
