Fake Gods

Fake Gods

A Poem by Laura Starlight
"

Humans.

"
hey sit on their padded chairs
Around a large table
Discussing war like they
Were discussing dinner.
Who to send,
Who to draw back,
Who to throw
To the clutches of death.

Let me ask you,
Who died and made them God?
Who gave them the right
To decide who lives and who dies?

No one should have that right.
