A Poem by Jake
"

I've been toying with the idea of writing a poem about Social Networking for a while now, so here is attempt No. 1.

"
Private communications,
Let slip in a public place,
I can overlook the happiness,
Spread on your soft, warm face.

I can ignore those sentences,
The shameless ‘I love you’,
Open it for the world to see,
Makes it patently true.

But the one thing I can’t face,
Is the thought of starting anew,
Looking into a glass screen,
To face a world without you.
