A Poem by Conrad Wrobel
"

Inspired by Pablo Neruda

"

I can write the saddest lines today.

I can write the saddest lines today.

I CAN write the saddest lines today.

I really can write the saddest lines today.

I mean to write the saddest lines today.

I know I can write the saddest lines today.

I want to write the saddest lines today.

I really want to write the saddest lines today.

            But I just can't...

Maybe I'll try again when I'm feeling better.

I'm pretty sure that I reviewed a poem just like this before...was it this poem? still, you've described me on most days when I'm too sad/lazy/sick/tired to write. made me smile, think and wonder, just as a poem should

Ah ha! Here's the inspiration I've been looking for all day -- you and Pablo have my sadness. Thanks for finding it for me. Maybe we can both write better tomorrow, if we can find those darn words.

Thanks for this and very well done!
