First day of Autumn

First day of Autumn

A Poem by conspicuousleaf
"

Thought I'd try and write a poem about Autumn.

"

The brown leaves spiral down

from the trees, crashing against

the muddy ground. The branches

of the trees clap together as the calm

refreshing wind blows against them gently.

The sky is cloudy - a blanket of white fluff

lay gently above. Foxes scuttle across the

luscious pastures and birds chirp blissfully,

welcoming the first day of Autumn.

Yes, they are enjoyable! I love how you mostly write about nature, it's a nice break from all the poems about despair and whatnot that most people write (not that those aren't good too!!:)
