I posted this a couple of month ago and accidently deleted it..so yeah hope you still enjoy it! :)

The Girl in the Corner

 Do you see the girl in the corner all by herself?

She doesn't speak much for fear that her words would be used against her.

She has a few friends who know her deepest secret...

Or do they?

She is invisible.

She is just a ghostly figure by the wall.

 

She has many dreams, but she never believes in fairy tale endings.

Happily ever afters are a joke to her.

Because when love comes; it leaves before she can even embrace it.

She looks lonely, but is she?

She is never taken seriously.

She is just a girl in the corner.

She knows all lines and knows all of the answers.

Who is she?

 

I know her.

She tells the truth.

She is trust worthy

 

She is funny and cares about her friends.

She loves God.

So she is never lonely and never is she unloved.

She doesn't care what other people think.

Who is She?

She is me.

So....I posted this a couple of months ago and well I found out that I accidently deleted it....so luckily I saved it so here it is...again lol :P

Again? Girl, you have got to stop deleting things, especially stuff this good. I love this poem as much as "Through Her Eyes", if not better. It shows that you can love being the girl in the corner, people just don't get that. Personally, I don't get whats so fun about being popular, it's way overated. Not to mention the fact that acting like an idiot is a requirment it seems.

I know right! Being popular is stupid and sometimes I feel sorry for them because they just use that as a way to get attention from others bad or good.
