its deafen

your fake smile

it causes tears

Why are you doing this to me?

I gave you my heart out of love

But you crushed it out of hatred.

I gave you my life

But you destroyed it

painfully and slowly

What did I do

to make your love for me turn to hatred.

Didn't I give you all my devoted attention?

Did I not flirt or look at other guys like you said?

Did I not hang around the people you thought were bad?

Why are you making me feel like I'm nothing?

You treat me like I'm your slave

You treat me like I'm just an object

You treat me like I'm your personal punching bag

I want to get away..

but I can't

I just cry for your forgiveness and you take me back

Soon I return back to your regular abuse.

Why can't I get away?

Because of you...

 

 You were the one that made me feel like I'm nothing.

So what's the point of having worth. I'm nothing...

Nothing at all.

This poem is about being in a abuse of relationship...I'm not an expert or experience an abuse of relationship (Thank the Lord) but I wanted to capture what it might feel like if I or you were in an abuse. Thank you for reading!!! :D
