Don't Let Go

Don't Let Go

A Poem by The Invisible Girl

I feel it in my heart

A feeling that is rare

I blame it on pity, and disappointment

But I know I'm taking a chance

In having my heart torn apart

Last time

I let this feeling take over

It  left me in tears and sadness

Hopeless filled my heart

I promised myself I would never

let this feeling come back

But here you are

Standing before me

I can see the hurt in your eyes

All I want to do is embrace you

I can see you are going down the wrong path

I run out from the sidelines and rescue you

Don't let go of my hand

Stay by me

Everything will be alright

Cut it out , cut it out

Don't you see the road you are heading

will only be miserable

Don't lie to me

You need me and I need you

I care about you

I believe in you

I LOVE YOU!
