a stranger to self

a stranger to self

A Poem by conversations with her pen..

I don't know how you got here,

but you're here.

I thought it was me against the world,

moving fast pace with a story to tell.

But it's you, you have taken over my mind.

it's clouded.

I cant feel you, recognize you, or hear you.

It gets lonely.

Silence has become your way of communicating.

But you're a chatterbox.

Passion, its nowhere to be found.

But you're a woman of substance.

It is your soul,

it defeated you.

your thoughts

have cornered you.

Solitude,

It's written all over you.

How dare you, how could you leave?

Please,

please come back to me.

I like how one can feel that you yearn for yourself. Having lost yourself somewhere along the road.
It's relatable. Nice piece👍

I liked the twist and the turn of the words. A realistic ending. We would accept someone back, knowing the possibility of a heart break. Thank you dear Jada for sharing the amazing words and your thoughts.

i love all of the contrasts in this poem...the conflict of self vs self...the conversation we have with ourselves when we feel we have lost what we really are...and sometimes it is when we let another do that to us...when we lose ourselves in a relationship...most important thing is to keep our own identity...

good write.
