Mama Don't Cry

Mama Don't Cry

A Poem by Corky

Mama don't cry,

your son's gonna rise

all the way to heaven,

where his soul won't die

found his way,

but lost his mind

they tell him

that it only gets better in time

lays himself down, upon his bed

contemplative thoughts

run rampant through his head

wonders how long

He can live this way,

guess it doesn't matter

He's got bills to pay.
