Beat Break

Beat Break

A Poem by Count Humilus

Cold sheets cover the past

Time slowly shedding tears

Time rapidly smiling in retrospect

We pray when things get bad

We sit and stare at a wall

Carve our insecurities on opposing legs

Laughing at how fake the blood looks

Crying about dreams

Screaming about the air

Flickering souls

Like nothing ever happened

We will regret the time apart

Like nothing ever happened

We will never speak .
