Freedom?

Freedom?

A Poem by Crayon
"

The grass is always greener...

"

A bird flew by

Way up high

And I wished to be

Just as free

Imagine, said I

To be able to fly

To go and see

Everything that could be.

A horse thundered along

With legs so strong

And the bird did crave

The freedom to explore each cave

He did long

To walk the earth in song

To explore each cove

The world to rove

It seems like life sometimes robs us of the freedom to be as we wish.. to be able to fly, as it were.. Your words have that gentle sense of wonder about what things might be like if we could take another path. Excellent write!

I thought you did an excellent job, I wouldn't mine being free like a bird myself!
