Mother

Mother

A Poem by Angad Waraich
"

For my mother

"

MOTHER

Hey Mother!

I write about you tonight,

About your love.

The only thing untouched,

Amidst these changing times.

You still light up the darkest night.

And with a touch…

You make me laugh, you make me cry.

Hey Mother!

My guardian angel,

God’s greatest gift.

When you hold my hand…

No mountain seems high, not a river too deep.

Even hell fells like home to me.

Hey Mother!

The one reality in a world full of lies.

The say death is the one truth of life.

I say nay!

One may cheat death.

But, the only thing truer than life itself is, Mother your love for me.

It's wonderful piece of art. You reminded me when I wrote My short Story " Mother's Hope". I really cried when I wrote it. It's great to remember Mother's Love. Thanks for sharing.
