Angel with a Shotgun

Angel with a Shotgun

A Poem by C_theSurrealist
"

how if your love is not worth fighting for?

"
We rose upon the highest skies enchantingly.
Our pale wings, precious smiles, and shining halos
were special and almost perfect.
Our hands tied yet thou loosen the tight.
I fly to chase again those lovely memoirs.
Until a shot hit my broad wings; bloody and weary
The halo has crack and wings are broken but faith is unbowed.
I fly still to chase again those lovely memories.
Until shots of hopelessness scarred the wings and halo,
"please stop!" conscience softly whispered.
My faith surrendered as my route is misleading
May be chasing the memoirs isn't my path.
Wings turned into ashes, so I can't fly now.
Halo's vanished and smiles have wrecked
Heart was shattered and soul becomes numb.
As my wings bloom once again, I will fly with a gun
Even though heaven won't accede,
still bullets will bump within the soul of wreckers.
Because I didn't want just to survive, but to live.
