A Thunderstorm

A Thunderstorm

A Poem by Broken Hearts

Wrathful clouds envelope the joyous blue sky,
whispers fill the silence with their warning
right before the first drops begin to fall.
Fierce wind erupts from the peace,
and tears away the comfort of the night.
As lightning pierces the sky
the mysterious darkness is revealed,
and the air turned electric.
Thunder coming a few seconds too late
Exposes the great power within.
Sounding like a furious symphony,
the storm rages on.

I like it. How you portray the storm is great. You give your readers a visual of the storm
