One Love

As the waves crash down on the sand,

Beneath my shadows of where I stand,

I think about the roads my heart has taken,

And all the lives I’ve crucified and forsaken.

I ponder about who I’m not,

And the person that I was, but forgot.

No more am I an innocent dolly,

I’ve found my fault, thus accepted my folly.

This heart wishes for many lives to live,

But only has one love to give.
