THE VISITOR

THE VISITOR

A Poem by Crusaderscross

It is near
Life is crying gray
My body becomes tired

It is near
Thoughts become cold
Emotions need sleep

It is near
Senses are scared
Breath is light

It is near
Numbness everywhere
Pain is unbearable

It is near
I smell the divine

It is here
I am no more

Hm, I think of this as a visit from the grim reaper. Death.

"It is near,
Thoughts become cold
Emotions need sleep"
Loved it, and loved how you kept repeating the "it is near"
It's an amazing poem, and i hope you continue to write!

I like the repetition of the line "It is near," and the wrap up of "It is here." Good description of the last leg of the journey. The word "divine," I take, means Heaven... the reward after the suffering. I like that it's not specific. Nice piece.
