I Adore You

I Adore You

A Poem by Cecilia Ting
"

A love poem

"

If, at midnight, you are awakened by my calls

It’s because I care for you

I often wonder whether you speak with some secret motive of wishing to tease my heart

I obviously want to believe, but I can’t help but doubt

Am I truly the only one in your life?

Love is when I continually annoy you

So baby, speak up more on your feelings

When you think of me, toss me a glance

Express yourself more to let me really see (your love)

Say goodbye less, I want to be with you more than just a day

Can’t you see I am dedicated to perfectly loving you?

I like to act silly at your side

Your world is a castle in which I’d love to be princess

Once again, I’m smiling at you

Often I wonder: Do you really absorb what I say?

In my heart, you really are the only one

Love is where I continually depend on you

Every day, we should experience more of this slowly accumulating feeling

In this world of two people, let us stick a little closer

True love is when two people stay together and hold on. A beautiful poem. The story in your poem is very good. Description and flow of words held me to the last word.
